Even the salt sprinkled on the roads couldn't keep up. Cars were literally overcome by snow and only the metro, snug underground, kept on going. Meanwhile, Parisians made a day of it, and certainly, it gave us some unforgettable images. After all, how often does one see the world's most romantic city decked out in white?
