We tell contemporary stories of interest through book reviews, essays, photographs, podcasts and videos. Like the “maquerel" in Old French - a “go-between” - Mackerel is a broker of experiences.
We’re a little off-beat, not terribly mainstream and always ready to dive deep into things because so much of life exists on a spectrum. Incidentally, the mackerel is a long-distance swimmer, super hardy and nutritious. Which is what we strive to create: Solid, hearty content.
A good read, indeed.
